Tiger tennis takes down Emory & Henry

Hampden-Sydney College men’s tennis defeated Emory & Henry 5-4 on Sunday afternoon in a match played at Hollins University in Roanoke.
Andrew Loving (Charlottesville/Western Albemarle) and Nathan Horvit (Columbia, Mo./Rock Bridge) teamed up for an impressive 8-0 win at No. 3 doubles. Loving picked up an individual victory at the No. 3 singles flight, winning in straight sets 6-4, 6-1.
David Anderson (Williamsburg/Lafayette) took down Liam Davidson at No. 4 singles by a score of 6-2, 6-1.
Horvit also picked up his second win of the day by besting Andrew McClung 6-3, 6-0 at the No. 5 spot.
Patrick Bryant (Raleigh, N.C./Broughton) rolled at the No. 6 flight 6-0, 6-1.
Hampden-Sydney hosts Randolph-Macon on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. for Senior Day.
