FARMVILLE — Justin Reid has been appointed by Gov. Terry McAuliffe to the Citizen’s Advisory Council on Furnishing and Interpreting the Executive Mansion.

The appointment of Reid, who serves as the Moton Museum’s director of education and public programs, was announced on Friday.

According to the Code of Virginia, the council was established as an advisory council in the executive branch of state government to operate as a nonprofit charitable organization.
