On Tuesday, the Farmville community gathered at the Ty Cobb Stadium at Hampden-Sydney College to learn about the symptoms of strokes and how to prevent them. The event, held during a Hampden-Sydney baseball game, was sponsored by Centra Southside Community Hospital, H-SC and the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce. The “Strike Out Stroke” ballgame offered free health education and blood pressure screenings.
