Baptist Union Baptist Church will hold a gospel concert to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the church on Saturday at 3 p.m. Minister Dr. Wendy Lyle Jones, of Church of All Nations, will be worship leader, and Mt. Lyle Baptist Choir, Chris Lewis, Marion Shelter and others will render the music. Attendees are encouraged to wear their birthstone color. Refreshments will follow. On Sunday at 10 a.m. the church anniversary will be observed with Bishop Ray McKenzie, pastor of Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Henrico, as guest preacher. The Hills Creek Baptist Mass Choir of Gladys will render the music. Dinner will follow at 1:30 p.m. All are invited.
