Happy birthday wishes to: Florence Lango, of Dillwyn (April 8); Cheryl Canipe, age 46, of Henrico, (April 9); and Wanda Albrecht, of New Canton, (April 13).

Visiting in the home of James and Virginia Boyles, of Cumberland, on March 30 were several friends and family from Amelia, Dillwyn and Cumberland. All enjoyed great food, fun and fellowship.

The 2016 annual Miles Family Reunion will be held on Saturday, April 23, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Golden Corral of Richmond. All family members and guests are welcome.

Barry and Linda Miles, of Cumberland, along with Bill Humphrey and great-grandchild Lexi from Roanoke, and Eileen Reynolds and Audrey Llewellyn, both of Buckingham, enjoyed an evening of great food and fellowship at Teresa’s Place of Dillwyn March 31.

Sympathy is extended to the families of Billy Chapman, of Farmville, Annie Mae Gormus Bryant, of Dillwyn, Donald “Duck” Leon Hudgins, of Arvonia, and Lillie Mae Ranson LeSueur, of Dillwyn. All will be greatly missed.
