Brennan to join the Centra Autism Center

Centra is pleased to announce Teresa Brennan, M.D., developmental pediatrician, will be joining the Centra Autism & Development Center in Lynchburg on Monday. Brennan specializes in the evaluation and follow-up of developmentally at risk or delayed infants and toddlers. She has been providing these services to children and their families since 1984.
In the center, Brennan will work with Jitendra Annapareddy, M.D., child/adolescent psychiatrist and director of the center, who provides assessment and treatment for autism spectrum and other disorders. This new partnership offers seamless services with Brennan seeing preemies up to age 3 and Annapareddy treating children age three and older.
Brennan is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. She received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University, where she completed her pediatric internship and residency. She also completed a Robert Wood Johnson fellowship in general pediatrics at Duke University and a fellowship in neurodevelopmental disabilities at the University of Virginia.
Brennan most recently ran the Developmental Pediatric Clinic at Medical Associates of Central Virginia. She will continue her specialty outpatient clinic at Centra Virginia Baptist Hospital on Thursdays. For further information or appointments, call (434) 200-5750.
