The JROTC Raider Team from Buckingham County High School defeated 32 other Raider teams on March 2 to place first overall in the Manchester Raider Challenge Meet. Cadets Trenton Houser, Jason Gormus, Ronnie Bagby, Rachael Pugh and K.G. Gough led the Raiders to place first in rope bridge and physical fitness test and second in firemans carry. Destiny Sutton was named top female athlete. Buckingham defeated Double A and Triple A schools Courtland, Camp LeJeune, N.C.
