Biology and anatomy teacher Sarah Fulcher is the March Teacher of the Month at Prince Edward County High School.
Fulcher, a native of Buckingham County, has been teaching at PECHS for 15 years. She has a bachelors in Cell Biology from Huntingdon College and a masters degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University.
She is married to Bobby Fulcher, and they have four children: Mackenzie, 12; Conner, 11; Brady, 9; and Riley, 8.
Fulcher has been the high school’s Teacher of the Year three times. She says the best part of her job is “really making connections with kids, feeling like you are the positive influence for them.”
Assistant Principal Dr. Maurice Smith describes Fulcher as “a highly dedicated teacher who is well loved and respected by her students who enjoy her energy in the classroom.”
As Teacher of the Month, Fulcher received flowers, a balloon and a special parking place for the entire month.
