The Cumberland Garden Club met Feb. 23 at the Cumberland County Library to say farewell to longtime member Georgeen Carden, who is moving to Richmond. Carden, past president of the club and a master gardener, is also active in the Woman’s Club of Cumberland, Christmas Mother program and Cumberland Clothes Closet. She also taught English in the high school.
