Spring Sprint for youth set

The Friends of Twin Lakes State Park will hold the Spring Sprint on Saturday, March 19, with a one-mile walk/run for youth 14 and under at Cedar Crest Conference Center at Twin Lakes State Park. Sign in begins at 9 a.m., and the race begins at 10 a.m.; the awards ceremony is at 11:15 a.m.
There will be a full morning of free outdoor activities from 9 a.m. – noon including geocaching, corn hole, volleyball and horseshoes.
Entry fee for the race is $18 on the day of the race. Activities are free. Participants are invited to dress in costumes, and prizes will be given during the awards ceremony. Categories include (but are not limited to) Best Representation of the Theme, Best Hat/Headwear and Wackiest and Most Adorable. Costumes are not required.
Funds raised will be used to refurbish the Challenge Obstacle Course at Twin Lakes Park.
