Fuqua School senior basketball standout Taylor Frink recently scored her 1,000th point.
“Taylor Frink is a coach’s dream,” said coaches Harry Bryant and John Ellington in a statement.
“She is a great player with an even better attitude. She is never boastful, arrogant or disrespectful. Taylor has always been the player to let her ability do the talking for her. It has been our pleasure to coach her over the past four years and watch her grow up from that little girl with braces to the sweet young lady she is (now).”
Frink has also had 345 rebounds, 425 steal and 217 assists in her high school career. In her career, she has went 297-for-475 in free throw, 325-for-665 in field goals and 27-for-62 in three-pointers.
“Taylor Frink has been a tremendous asset to this school and team over the past few years and will be sorely missed by her coaches and teammates,” the statement read. “We wish her the best in whatever she decides to do in the future, and have no doubt — with her work ethic and great attitude — she will go far.”
The Lady Falcons finished their season 11-7.
