Speas’ Max A Million, owned by Pat Speas of Cumberland, received the RAE title at the Richmond Dog Obedience Club Trail on Father’s Day last summer. His title came on an appropriate day; Max originally belonged to Pat’s father, the late Marcus Speas. Under Speas’ training Max has earned AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and AKC Novice Agility titles. He also serves as a registered Therapy Dog. “Max is a very good companion and makes a great team member,” Speas said. Pat and Max have been invited to the AKC Rally National Championship in Tulsa, Okla., on March 18. His class entered is RAC and he represents the All American Dog (mix breed).
