Donors are needed for the American Red Cross Bloodmobile visit to Heritage Hall Nursing Home Wednesday, March 16, from noon – 6 p.m. The Blood drive is sponsored by the American Red Cross and the 17th District Masonic Lodges. Studies demonstrate that you or someone you know will need blood. In fact, one in three people will need blood at some point in their lifetime. From natural disasters to unforeseen catastrophes, emergency hospital procedures to life-long battles with chronic diseases, the demand for blood is constant. The supply is not. Since there is no substitute, only volunteer blood donors can roll up their sleeves and save lives. For more information contact Spencer Adams (434) 969-4032.
