A bluebird house workshop will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, from 10 a.m.-noon at Bear Creek Hall, Bear Creek State Park, Cumberland.

Central Piedmont Virginia Master Naturalists welcome you to the park to learn about bluebird habitat and how to attract bluebirds, as well as how to maintain and predator-proof their houses. House kits are ready to assemble. Some tools will be on hand, but feel free to bring a Phillips screwdriver.

Pre-registration is required; a responsible adult should accompany children. Couples/families may reserve a maximum of two kits. The workshop is free, but a donation of $5 a kit is requested, payable at the workshop.
