Matthew Warren, 64 Of Keysville Dies Saturday

KEYSVILLE, Nov. 6 – Matthew Warren, 64, of Keysville, died Saturday, October 25, 2003.

He was the son of the late Mattle Warren Dean of Prince Edward County. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Farmville.

He is survived by his wife, Sadie Warren; three children, Antonio Markkey (Kimberly), Torrey Pierce (Tracey) and Princess W. Smithson (Carnell, Jr.,) all of Keysville; three grandchildren, Brittney, Keyana and Donte'; his mother-in-law, Estelle Arvin; five brothers-in-law, Joe T. Arvin (Delois), Waverly Bedford (Eunice), Ruffus Whitehead (Patricia), Willie Hicks (Mary) and Noel Baronnette; one aunt, Emma Watson; one uncle, Roosevelt Barksdale; a devoted friend, Winfred “Joe Boy” West and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday, October 30 at 1 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Farmville, with interment in Union Cemetery, Keysville. The Rev. A. L. Crook officiated.

Funeral arrangements were by Wilson Funeral Home of Keysville.
