Arleen B. Liotta, 72, of Farmville, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 14, 1943 to the late Stanley and Lillian Calpin Kuwalek. She lived. She laughed. She loved. A true gem in the crown of Jesus Christ, Arleen will be missed dearly by so many who can trace their most precious, powerful, and uplifting experiences to just a few moments at her side.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Louis Liotta; two sons, Christopher Liotta (Alex) from Bryan, TX, and Anthony Liotta (Marie) from Irwin, PA; two daughters, Nanette Kiker (Jim) of Mebane, NC, and Janine Chance (James) of Myrtle Beach, SC; 14 grandchildren, Benjamin Loughran, Elijah Loughran, Hannah Kiker, Mackenzie Loughran, Kit Kiker, Jewels Liotta, Eli Liotta, Raia Liotta, Kaitlyn Chance, Madelyn Chance, Mckenna Chance, Hannah Liotta, Bethani Liotta and Rebecca Liotta; and a literal host of others who, regardless of bloodline, are honored to call her mom, grandma, sister and friend.
A memorial service will be held on January 16 at 1 p.m. at New Life Church at 9 Mahan Road, Farmville. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to the building fund of Marble Hill Church of God at 13838 Farmville Road, Meherrin, VA 23954.
