Welcome home to Ella R. Snoddy of New Canton. She spent a few days last week in the hospital.

Congratulations to Wilburn and Carolyn Whitehead of Dillwyn. The couple will celebrate their wedding anniversary on Monday, February 9.

On Saturday, January 24 Barry and Linda Miles visited a very special friend, Charlotte Jean Speas, of Hickory Hill Retirement Home in Burkeville. A nice visit was had by all.

Buckingham Baptist Church, located on North James Madison Hwy. in Arvonia, will be serving supper every Wednesday from 5:15 – 6:15 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. The cost is $4 per person for up to three people and a family with four or more will be $15 per family to cover the food cost.

Following the meal there will be Bible study at 6:30 p.m. and children in action Bible class for ages five to 11.
