FARMVILLE — The Town of Farmville has announced changes in residential and business garbage routes surrounding the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.

According to the Town, there will be no trash collection on Thursday and no business or cardboard collection on Friday. Loose leaf pickup will resume on Jan 4.

On Dec. 28-30, residential trash will be collected on regular schedule. There will be no trash collection on Thursday, Dec. 31. There will be no business or cardboard collection on Friday, Jan 1, according to the notice.

“Please note that there is no change in residential garbage service or Wednesday’s cardboard collection if called in by 4:00 pm Tuesday,” the notice stated. “Also, there is no change in the residential recycling.”
