On February 14, from noon – 5 p.m., Madeline’s House and Piedmont Crisis Center will hold a Taste of Chocolate at the Fort Pickett Officer’s Club in Blackstone. The event will include a live band, silent auctions, live auctions, door prizes, raffle prizes, chocolate tasting, and marketplace goodies such as fresh flowers, jewelry, fresh bakery items for purchase. Tickets are $30 at the door, but can be purchased for $25 at Farmville, Blackstone, South Hill, Victoria, and South Boston Benchmark Community Banks.

All proceeds go directly to benefit Southside Center for Violence Prevention, Inc. – Madeline’s House – Piedmont Crisis Center to help fight and benefit victims of domestic and sexual assault.
