Longwood Garden Club makes hospice arrangements

The Longwood Garden Club’s November gathering was hosted by Ann Morton Neale and David Whaley at the Johns Memorial Episcopal Church Parish House in Farmville. The members created floral arrangements for hospice patients during the meeting. Harlan Horton and Julie Shield received blue ribbons while Shirley Blackwell and Peggy Kelsey received red ribbons for their Biedermeier arrangements. The horticultural specimens by Shirley Blackwell, Reed Horton, Ann Morton Neale, Julie Shield, David Whaley and Pam Wilson received blue ribbons.
