Payne Memorial Methodist Church, 1 Stony Point Road in Cumberland, will hold a series of Advent services/luncheons in December from noon-1 p.m. starting on Wednesday. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Helen Cannon, who will speak on “Promise.” Lunch will be provided and served at noon.

All are invited.
