The Rev. Matthew Sorenson, pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Farmville, will give brief remarks and dedicate this year’s Tree of Lights during the tree lighting ceremony at Centra Southside Community Hospital on Thursday at 4 p.m.

A program planned by CSCH auxiliary member Jane Guthrie and featuring local musicians will also be a part of the 30-minute tree lighting program. Refreshments will follow the program, and the community is invited.
