“Farmers are very concerned about funding for conservation practices required to meet water quality commitments,” Davis, the Buckingham Farm Bureau president said, “as well as funding for the state’s weights and measures program; defending state water control of the current biosolids program and regulations and having farmer representation on elected soil and water conservation district boards.”

Policies developed during the resolutions meeting will be considered for official VFBF policy during the organization’s annual convention Dec. 1-3 in Norfolk.

Buckingham County Farm Bureau is one of the 88 county Farm Bureaus in the VFBF.
