RICHMOND, Dec. 14 – Frances Guthrie Flynn, 60, of Richmond, died Saturday, December 11, 2010.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and a faithful follower of Jesus, and is now rejoicing in his presence.

Mrs. Flynn is survived by many loving family and friends including her husband of 37 years, Michael Patrick Flynn; two sons, Patrick Guthrie Flynn and wife, Christy Lynn Parker Flynn and Ehren Michael Flynn and wife, Jennifer April Flynn; father, Forrest Guthrie III and wife, Elizabeth Jane Guthrie; mother, Mary Ellen Guthrie; sister, Mary Lou Guthrie; brother, J. Forrest Guthrie; and grandchildren, Josiah Patrick Flynn, Constance Parker Flynn and Parker Sabbath Flynn. She was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas W. Guthrie.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the Community of Grace Church, Richmond, with graveside services held at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Buckingham.
