Vernon ‘Trigger’ Gormus

Vernon “Trigger” Gormus, 68, of New Canton, passed on November 5, 2015.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosen Herman and Georgia Lee Gormus; brothers, Freddie and Herman Gormus and granddaughter, Jacey Lynn Maxey. 

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Gormus; grandsons, Justin, Jordan, Jared and “Spike” Maxey and almost grandson, Jeff Vance; stepsons,  David Maxey (Karen) and Steve Maxey (Christina); sisters, Macy Eidenour of Tampa and Linda Edwards of Ashland;  brother, Ralph Gormus of Buckingham; and faithful furbaby, Jack. 

Funeral services were held November 8 at Welcome Wesleyan Church, with interment in the church cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
