CMS student competes in FFA Fair

Jordan Newman, an 8th grade student at Cumberland Middle School, competed in the Eastern Region FFA Agriscience Fair in Springfield, Mass. Jordan’s project, “Whose Lambs Grew the Most,” placed first at the Virginia FFA Convention in Animal Science. He placed 4th, earning a silver award. Jordan plans to continue his research project next year. This was his first year as a member of the newly re-established Cumberland FFA.
