Local libraries note Halloween events

Central Virginia Regional Library will hold a Halloween costume parade on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Farmville Library and Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Buckingham Library. Children are encouraged to wear costumes. The program will include a craft and parade through the library to collect candy. “Make Your Own Halloween Tote Bag” will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Farmville Library. All are invited; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All materials are provided.
Teens are invited to “Zombie Asylum Murder Mystery” at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Farmville Library. Costumes are encouraged. Teens will be the unfortunate inmates at the Penderghast Asylum where they must help solve a murder to avoid becoming a zombie.
