RESTON, Nov. 16 – Eleanora Smith, 96, died on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at her home in Reston. She was born on March 26, 1914 in Dayton, OH to the late Dr. Franklin W. and Edith Evans Rouslt.

She was a member of the United Christian Parish and was chairman of the social and garden committees for many years at Thoreau Place. She was also involved in different gardening communities throughout her life.

Mrs. Smith was the beloved wife of the late W. Quentin Smith; loving mother of Marshall Dodd Smith of Oak Hill, Dianne Colgan of New Canaan, CT, Catherine Clark of Gallipolis, OH and Roger Smith of Hong Kong, China; proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 24 at 11 a.m. at United Christian Parish, Reston, with a reception to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Thoreau Place, 1951 Sagewood Lane, Reston. Interment will be private.
