The annual Scouting for Food Service Project began Oct. 30 with Farmville area Boy and Cub Scouts placing grocery bags on the doorsteps of Farmville residents. The Scouts ask resi-dents to fill these bags with non-perishable food. The Scouts will return to the neighborhoods the next Nov. 6, between 10 a.m. and noon to pick up the full bags and transport the donated food to Farmville area food banks.
