The marriage of Morgan N. Hammock and R. Shawn Mahan took place at Ash Camp Baptist church in Keysville on September 4.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy W. Hammock, of Farmville. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Hammock, Mrs. Gerry Pettus and the late George O. Pettus III, all of Keysville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Mahan, of Farmville. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bayard Trail, the late Ralph Mahan, Mrs. Irene Layne, and the late Carrington Layne, all of Farmville.
The bride wore an ivory/silver-gold halter satin gown with cathedral train accented with Swarovski crystals, embroidery and beading. She wore her mother's veil.
The maid of honor was Heather Blackwood; matron of honor was Candi Mahan, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Lauren Walls, niece of the groom, and Amanda Childers, cousin of the bride. Miss Bree Bappert was flower girl.
Mr. Mahan served as his son's best man. Groomsmen were Robert Hammock, brother of the bride; Dwayne Wilkerson, and D.R. Thomas. Walker Mahan was his father's junior best man and ring bearer.
Mrs. Ginger Amos was mistress of ceremonies.
After a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, SC, the couple will make their home in Farmville.
