Dr. and Mrs. Theodore George, of Potomac, MD, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Rebecca George, of Durham, NC, to Kemper Beasley III, son of Mr. and Mrs. K. M. Beasley Jr., of Buckingham.

Miss George graduated in 2004 from Taylor University in Indiana. She received a master's from McDaniel College in Maryland and is employed in Chapel Hill, NC, as an elementary teacher.

Mr. Beasley graduated in 2002 from Hampden-Sydney College, received a master's from Duke University, and worked at Farmers Bank in Appomattox. Presently he is a second year law student at Liberty University.

The wedding is planned for June 2011 in Durham, NC.
