Central Virginia Library notes fall events

This fall the library has something for everyone.

Adults can attend beginner computer classes at either the Buckingham or Farmville libraries. For a complete schedule call (434) 392-6924 or go to www.cvrl.net/events.

The Booked for Lunch Book Club meets the second Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Farmville Library. If you wish to join the mailing list and see what books will be discussed, email info@cvrl.net.

The second Annual Kids’ Super Smash Bros. Tournament will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. for children 12 and under at the Farmville Library. Registration is required. Call (434) 392-6924. Teens are welcome to come to the Farmville Library on Thursdays from 3-8 p.m. for Game On @ the Library. Play games on the library’s Wii U or bring your own console and games. Space will be available for board games and trading cards. Snacks will be provided.

Mark your calendars for the Zombie Murder Mystery on Oct. 31 and the Star Wars Trivia Competition on Nov. 21.

Central Virginia Regional Library is a free provider of information and education. With two locations in Farmville and Dillwyn, the Library offers free materials, computer access, classes, exhibitions, programming and more to everyone from toddlers to seniors.
