The Farmville Town Council and Planning Commission will hold a Joint Public Hearing at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in the Council Chambers located on the Second Floor of the Town Hall, 116 North Main Street Farmville Virginia, for the purpose of hearing citizen comments on the following proposed ordinance amendment: (Change noted in bold)

Article III. District Regulations

Division 1. Generally

Sec. 29-53 (a) (8). Off-Street parking.

AMEND CURRENT CODE FROM:

Grocery, drug, department, sundry and variety stores and similar businesses, one (1) parking space for each one hundred (100) square feet, excluding storage space.

TO:

Grocery, drug, department, sundry and variety stores and similar businesses, one (1) parking space for each two hundred (200) square feet, excluding storage space.

The Planning Commission will hold a meeting following the Public Hearing.
