CUMBERLAND COUNTY BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

PUBLIC HEARING

The Cumberland County Board of Zoning Appeals will meet on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as may be heard, in Room C-8 of the Cumberland County Community Center located at the corner of Anderson Highway (Route 60) and Forest View Road (Route 628) in Cumberland, Virginia, to conduct public hearings pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.2-2204, which such hearing may be continued or adjourned, as required under applicable law, and to consider the following items and taking actions in furtherance thereof:

Variance (BZA) 15-02 Woodson- A variance request to allow subdivision of a parcel on a primary road with less than 500 feet of road frontage.  The property is located at 753 Old Buckingham Road, and is designated as tax map parcel 68-A-30.  The parcel would be 2.01 acres in size when subdivided and is zoned A-2.  The parcel is not within the designated growth area and is within Election District 3.

Copies of the complete text of the proposed subdivision is available for public review at the office of the Cumberland County Planning Department, County Administration Building, 1 Courthouse Circle, Cumberland, Virginia between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm of each business day.  The public is invited to attend this hearing at which persons affected may appear and present their views.
