The monthly meeting of the Cumberland Garden Club was held June 30 at the Cumberland County Public Library. After a short business meeting, a program on the Norfolk Botanical Gardens was presented by Elaine Myers. Her talk was illustrated with beautiful pictures she took of the gardens while there on tour.

Before adjourning, members were reminded that the July meeting will be hosted by Nell Spain at her home, and the August meeting will be a picnic at Bear Creek. Members were reminded to bring a side dish and a chair.
