Hannah Marie Erbe

Hannah Cora Marie Erbe, 95, of Pamplin, died Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Centra Southside Hospital, Farmville. She was born January 11, 1920 in Columbus, Ohio, a daughter of the late Mary Killmer and John Kelmer Erbe.

Mrs. Erbe was employed by the New Jersey School for the Deaf in Trenton, NJ, for 40 years and retired on July 1, 1983.

She resided in Trenton for many years until she moved to Pamplin where she lived with her brother, Daniel, and his wife, Kathleen, until her death.

She is survived by sister, Esther Erbe Petersohn of Concord; brothers, Lester S. and wife, Shirley (Mount) Erbe of East Windsor, NJ, Wesley P. and wife, Sally (Stinson) Erbe of Allentown, NJ, Samuel M. and wife, Cynthia (Coombs) Erbe of Pembroke, MA, and Daniel E. and wife, Kathleen (Devlin) Erbe of Pamplin; sister-in-law, Helen (Hawks) Erbe of Phoenixville, PA; cousin, David Kilmer and wife, Joyce, and daughters of Felton, PA; and many nieces and nephews, great nieces, and nephews, including a special niece, Sara Vincelli of Chatsworth, NJ. She was preceded in death by sister, Ruth Naomi Erbe, brothers, John K., Chester S., and Gordon E. Erbe, nephew, Mark Erbe, and sister-in-law, Naomi Erbe.

Mrs. Erbe will be laid to rest with her parents and sister at Mantua M.E. Cemetery, Mantua, NJ, at the convenience of the family.
