Virginia Credit Union has awarded $1,000 scholarships to 2015 graduates Devan Eppes, of Prince Edward High School; Zachary Dickens, of Nottoway High School; Olivia Leatherwood, of Buckingham High School; and Wyatt Salinas, of Cumberland High School.

The Success Scholarships are given on the basis of academic achievement, community service and extracurricular activities, an essay, and the hours a student devotes to work to help with the cost of his or her education.

One graduating senior from each of the four public high schools in the Farmville area was selected.
