The Woman’s Club Buckingham County GFWC held their annual luncheon in May at Maysville Presbyterian Church in Buckingham. Two charter members, Audrey Llewellyn Wise and Barbara White, were honored for their 61 years of service to the club and community with a 50-year pin and a letter from the international president of the GFWC, Babs Condon. Past presidents Barbara White, 1960-1961; Louise Bryant,1970-1973; Agnes Cramer, 2006-2010; Zanie Jamerson, 2010-2012; and Jackie Fairbarns, 2012-2014 were honored with a corsage. A $500 scholarship was presented to a senior from Buckingham High School. Patsy Miessler, Education chairman, presented the scholarship to Emily Herndon who will attend Shenandoah University.
