Ruth Manahan, 90

PAMPLIN, Nov. 17 – Ruth Marion Manahan, 90, of Buffalo Church Road, Pamplin, died Thursday, November 12, 2009.

Born July 14, 1919, in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of James and Minnie Genader Manahan. She was a member of the Fifth Avenue Baptist Church and was employed by Colgate-Palmolive as the executive secretary to the president.

She is survived by a cousin, Erna Corput, of Appomattox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home by the Rev. Roland Grenouillou. Burial was held in Fairview Cemetery, Red Bank, NJ.
