CARTERSVILLE, April 15 – Jackie Martin Jenkins, 32, of Cartersville passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008 at her residence. She was born August 10, 1975 in Richmond, the daughter of Buddy Martin of Cartersville and Fay Martin of Cumberland. She was the wife of Temple Scott Jenkins. She worked in the insurance industry as a manager for AFLAC.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her parents, husband, step-mother, Nancy Martin of Cartersville; grandmother, Lucy Martin of Cartersville; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Anna Jenkins of Green Bay and a special cousin, Skipper Martin of Cartersville. She was preceded in death by her grand-parents, Jarrett and Delia Jeter of Powhatan and grandfather, Bobs Martin.

A funeral service was held Sunday, April 13, at the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville with interment in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery in Green Bay.
