RICE, Sept. 22 – Johnny Ray “Pete” Case Sr., 71, of Rice, died Saturday, September 19, 2009 in Farmville.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Hines Case of Rice; son, Johnny Ray Case Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Rice; daughter, Lisa Moore and husband, James of Culpeper; daughter, Sandra Edwards and husband, Keith of Cleveland, NC; son, Stephen Case and wife, Stacy of Salisbury, NC; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Cassie Morton of Charlotte Court House and Jean Paxton of New Jersey; and brother, Marcus “Big Man” Case of Keysville.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday (today) in the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.

Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, is serving the family.
