Some of Mark Peake's senatorial opponents have questioned Mark's dedication to serving Southside Virginia as well as the Lynchburg area.

May I give a personal experience concerning Mark's dedication to the Southside community. Some time ago, I received a phone call from Mark, asking to speak with me in person. We arranged a time and sat down in my living room for approximately one and one-half hours. After this visit from Mark, I was persuaded that he is fully dedicated to serving the Southside area by setting an atmosphere that will attract business and industry, promoting the sale of food grown here and products made in this area, creating private-sector jobs, reducing red-tape for all businesses and families, supporting tax relief for families and small businesses, cutting wasteful spending, and protecting the lives of the unborn. He also opposes homosexual marriages and supports the concept of marriage being between one man and one woman.

Mark will serve our entire senatorial district exceedingly well; any suggestions to the contrary would seem to be political in nature.

Please join me in voting for Mark on August 23.
