Morris Named JRD Pitcher Of The Year

Central of Lunenburg's Sheree Lamp was named the James River District's Player of the Year, and Buckingham pitcher Libby Morris was named the Pitcher of the Year in recent voting by the league's coaches.
Central coach Tammy Matthews was also named the Coach of the Year. Joining Morris on the First Team from Buckingham were Elynn Lee, Chelsea Shumaker and Mackenzi Crump, Kaitlyn Allen was named to the Second Team, while Cumberland's Kilby Wilson and Quinn Duty were also named to the Second Team.
