Representative McGuire had a telephone call in to hear concerns of constituents earlier this month. He kept emphasizing waste and corruption in the federal government. One caller asked why those performing corruption are not being prosecuted. He thought that was a good idea. Some callers were concerned about Social Security and Medicare payments. He said he thought there would not be a problem there. These areas are huge parts of the Federal budget. Senior citizens are no longer productive. They are just consumers. Should  the government finance their dinners? Nursing homes are big business, but Americans should not be forced to pay for the care of the old and infirm. Families should be doing this.
