Mary “Molly” Fields

CUMBERLAND, April 28 – Mary “Molly” Katherine Graves Fields, 66, departed this life peacefully at her home in Cumberland on Tuesday, April 26, 2011. She was born in Laurel, MD on November 30, 1944 to the late Howard Louis and Etta Ayers Graves. She was also preceded in death by her four brothers, Claude Douglas Graves of Cumberland, and John, Albert and Mike Graves all of MD.

She is survived by two daughters, Teri Costner and Bruce of Chesterfield and Becky Shumaker of Buckingham; four sons, Danny Dandridge and Lisa of Amelia, Richard English of Cumberland, Eddie Fields and Linda of Powhatan and Timmy Fields and Monica of Cartersville; 12 grandchildren, Brandon and Kaitlin Shumaker, Savannah Dizon, Drew and Madison Costner, Hadley and Harris Cole, Kenley, Kiley and Trey Fields, Michael Fields and Hunter Wood; a sister-in-law, Beverley Graves of Cumberland, and numerous special nieces, cousins and family members.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 29, at Fitzgerald Baptist Church, Cumberland, with interment in the Center Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.
