Evie Reynolds

APRIL 14 – Our beloved Eva (Evie) Elizabeth Reynolds went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Evie was born on August 24, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She is survived by her parents, Mary Brinkley Ward Reynolds and the Rev. Michael Lee Reynolds of Dillwyn; sister, Jacqueline Louise Reynolds of Chesterfield County; brothers, Pvt. Michael Jarvis Reynolds of Fort Benning, GA, and Matthew Lee Reynolds of Dillwyn; grand-parents, Jack L. Reynolds and Mary Reynolds of Midlothian; as well as loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Evie was preceded in death by her maternal grand-parents, Eva Harris Ward and William Jarvis Ward, formerly of Hertford, NC, and her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Louise Reynolds, formerly of Richmond.

A celebration of her life was scheduled for Friday, April 10. Services were held at the Enon Baptist Church in Dillwyn, with interment in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Richmond, the Buckingham County Volunteer Rescue Squad, or Enon Baptist Church, 4096 Oak Hill Road, Buckingham, VA 23921.

Evie was a very loving little girl and will always be in our hearts.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, served the family.
