American Legion members, along with multiple other volunteers, spent parts of Saturday, Nov. 2 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, placing American flags on the graves of more than 400 veterans. Along with the Legion, members of the Legion Auxiliary, the Patriot Guard Riders, the Randolph Lodge #30, the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and volunteers that responded to the Legion’s Facebook post all took part, according to Silas Blanton. He serves as Commander of Legion Post 32. Speaking of which, American Legion Post 32 meets on the third Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., at VFW Post 7059, located at 1616 Graham Drive in Farmville.
