Norma Goforth, 66

NORTH CAROLINA, Feb. 24 – Norma Patterson Goforth, 66, of Carthage, NC, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Peak Resource – Pinelake. A native of Farmville, she was a daughter of the late Albert George Watson Preston Patterson and Naomi Pearl Loveday Patterson and was a homemaker. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit # 72 in Abilene.

She is survived by her husband, William C. “Buddy” Goforth Sr. of Charlotte County; daughters, Helen Kellis and husband, Rora of Vass, NC and Pamela Wagner and husband, Jan of Abilene; son, William C. Goforth Jr. and wife, Sheila of Farmville; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.
