I have a different point of view regarding the election.

The letter in last Wednesday’s edition referred to socialism as being a stepping stone to communism. There are a number of free countries in Europe that are basically socialist. They have not gone communist yet. I believe the population of Sweden is very content as well as other countries. I have gone to Europe and have never seen discontent, but I’m sure there is some. You can walk the streets of most cities feeling safe. Parents are not afraid to send their children to school.  The health care and schools take good care of their citizens. Many people in our free country don’t believe in helping the poor. Let them eat cake and live under a tree or bridge. 

The leadership of the Republican party stands for, in my opinion, adultery, lies, hate, violence and freedom for rich lawbreakers. The Pope was recently asked if he favored one of the candidates. He said he doesn’t like either one. Democrats support abortion and Republicans want to expel immigrants.

Please voters, look at other points of view before voting. I believe it is healthy to look at more than one point of view. Neither Democrats or Republicans are always right or wrong.
