Grace P. Trice 93

FEBRUARY 10 – Grace P. Trice, 93, of Farmville, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 9, 2011. She was the wife of the late Ben Trice. Mrs. Trice was a graduate of the State Teachers College (Longwood University) and taught for 30 years in the Virginia School system with a large portion of her time spent at Nottoway High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol T. Weatherford of Raleigh N.C.; grandson, Bryan R. Weatherford and wife, Emily A. Weatherford; great-granddaughter, Lily A. Weatherford and special friends, Page and John Hardy.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 13, at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with visitation from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Cartersville Community Cemetery in Cartersville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Farmville Presbyterian Church or the VFW of Farmville.
